  • How much does wedding photography cost in Worcestershire?

Wedding photography prices vary depending on coverage, experience, and extras. In Bromsgrove and Redditch, full-day packages typically range from £800 to £1,500. I offer bespoke options to suit your day, at affordable prices.

  • How far in advance should I book a wedding photographer?

Booking early is key, especially if your wedding falls on a weekend. Most couples book 9 to 12 months ahead to secure their photographer. This also gives you time to plan and discuss what you want from your day.

  • What happens if it starts raining on our wedding day?

Rain doesn’t have to ruin your photos, in fact, it can add a romantic touch. A professional photographer will come prepared with umbrellas, backup locations, and creative ideas to make the most of the weather. It’s all about adapting and embracing the moment.

  • Can I give my photographer a shot list?

Yes! A shot list helps ensure your must have moments are captured, like family groupings, special details, or important memories with a loved one . Most photographers appreciate having a list of priorities, but they’ll also use their experience to capture moments you didn’t even know you wanted.

  • How long does it take to get wedding photos?

Turnaround time is typically 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the season and workload. Some photographers, like me offer sneak peeks within 24–48 hours so you can share a few highlights on social media, while you wait for the full images

  • How many photos will I receive?

For a full-day wedding, you can expect around 400–600 edited images. These will include candid moments, group shots, details like décor and rings, and key events like the ceremony and speeches.

  • Do photographers edit all the images?

Yes. Editing includes colour correction, cropping, and light retouching to enhance the final look. RAW files are usually not provided unless agreed in advance, as they’re unprocessed and not ready for viewing or printing.

  • What should I wear for a photoshoot?

Neutral colours and simple patterns work best, as they keep the focus on you and avoid clashing with backgrounds. Avoid logos or busy prints. Your photographer may offer a prep guide with styling tips based on your session.

  • What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal. I create a calm, friendly environment where you can relax and be yourself. You don’t need to “perform”, just show up and let me do the rest. I’ll help you forget the camera is even there.

  • Can I be in the photos with my pet, or just them?

It’s totally up to you. Some clients want just pet portraits, others want to be in the frame too. I’ll tailor the session to your comfort level and preferences.

  • Can you help me plan the shoot or come up with ideas?

Definitely! I love collaborating on creative concepts. Whether you have a theme in mind or just a vibe you want to capture, I can help with styling suggestions, props, and even location scouting.

  • Can I bring a friend or family member for support?

Absolutely. If having someone there helps you feel more relaxed, they’re welcome to join. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

  • What happens if I need to cancel my shoot?

To secure your session, I take a non-refundable deposit. This helps cover planning time and holds your date exclusively. If you need to cancel, the deposit isn’t refunded, but I’m happy to reschedule your shoot at no extra cost, as long as you give me reasonable notice.

  • Can I book last minute sessions?

Most types! Quick lifestyle sessions, pet portraits, branding content, or even relaxed couple shoots. If it’s something simple and flexible, chances are we can make it happen.

  • Do you offer surprise proposal photography?

Yes! I love capturing the moment someone says “yes.” I’ll work with you behind the scenes to plan everything discreetly, from location and timing to cues that signal when it’s about to happen.
